About Mike Weiland
Mr. Weiland’s real estate career spans over a decade. In the mid 1990’s Mr. Weiland’s first technology company (Interactive Design) produced one of the first virtual tours for the real estate industry. Mr. Weiland successfully negotiated the sell of Interactive Design to Wind River Visual Communication and as the Vice President of Development continued to pioneer virtual tours and lead generation in the real estate industry.
In the late 1990’s Mr. Weiland joined Wasatch Interactive Learning (OCTBB:ILRN) as Director of Development and was instrumental in the companies first IPO and the later merger with PLATO Learning, Inc (Nasdaq:TUTR). In 2005 Mr. Weiland relocated to Austin Texas to work with the technology staff at Keller Williams where he has been creating the companies streaming video and interactive initiatives.
Mr. Weiland has served such clients as 360House.com/Obeo, New Freedom Mortgage, alamode, NASA, Motorola, 3Com, Macy’s, Apple Computers, Macromedia, Iomega, CommWorks, Jim Henson Studios, the US Navy, BMG, AOL, BAAN and the National Park Service.
As a Realtor, Mr. Weiland is at the Keller Williams Realty office in Round Rock, Texas.
